Roland "Woody" Woods

Roland "Woody" Woods, 72, of Eddy, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

Woody was born in Griffin, GA on May 7, 1941 to George Rex and Mildred Marie Woods. He spent 8 years in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. Woody retired from Lehigh Cement Company in 2005 after about 35 years of service.
Woody is survived by his wife, Dianne Woods of Eddy; daughters, Kim Combs of Robinson, Janet Alaminski of Liberty Hill, Lori Ballinger of Easton, IL, and Maureen Hough of Rochester, NY; son, David Smith of Seattle, WA; 13
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Steve Woods of Unadilla, GA.
