Services will held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco, Texas at 1pm,  Friday, March 7, 2025. 

Robert Garcia, a devoted family man and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by his wife and five children. 

Born on August 22, 1952, in George West, Texas, Robert was the son of Felipe Garcia and Manuela Coronado Garcia. He grew up with a strong sense of family and community, values that he carried with him throughout his life.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Martha Gonzales Garcia, whom he met in 1983 and married in 2015. Together, they shared 41 beautiful years of love, laughter, and adventure. 

He is also survived by his five children: Patricia Garcia Cooper (Stuart), Shawndale Garcia (Chris), Rachelle Villa (Jose), William Smith, and Robert Lee Garcia. 

Robert's grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life, are: Lorenzo Porter, Ariana Cooper Gutierrez (Dominick), Ashley Cooper Brown (Dustin), Sebastian Ramos, Tristian Ramos, Michael Lopez, Jr., Jordan Lopez, Abigail Cabrera, Joseph Cabrera, Jr. David Huerta, Jr., Nahyeli Villa,Natalia Villa, Cataleya Villa, Naomi Villa, Elaina Smith, Arianne Gonzales, Ariel Gonzales, and Gilbert Gonzales, Jr. 

His great-grandchildren are: Aviana Gutierrez, Kiaden Porter, Joaquin Saenz, Sorin Gutierrez, Ahmius Gutierrez, Dominick Gutierrez, Arianna Garcia Fuentes, D'Angelo Ramos, Lilliana Ramos, Arrenissia Reyes, Natalie Ramos, Khloe Ramos, Aniyah Ramos, Adion Reyes, Jr., Michael Lopez, III, and Samuel Gonzales.

Robert is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Sarah Garcia Ward, John Garcia, Roy Garcia (Carla), Joe Garcia (Khloe), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Manuela Garcia; his daughter, Celeste Nichole Garcia Huerta; his brother, Felicito Garcia; and his sister, Mary Esther Garcia Hernandez. 

Prior to his retirement, Robert was employed with General Tires, Forest River, and Patriot Homes. 

A passionate outdoorsman, Robert loved fishing and working with his roosters. He was also an avid member of the Gallo Crew, a group of friends who shared his love for adventure and good company. 

Robert’s family and friends will deeply miss his infectious sense of humor, his generous spirit, and his unwavering love for those around him. He never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He was a friend to many, and spent lots of time with his closest friends, Jose the mechanic, Ceasar Valdez, and all of the Valdez family, Caballo, Christian, and Dennis. The family greatly appreciates the love you all showed our father. 

His youngest granddaughters brought immense joy and light to his life, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. 

Rest in peace, Daddy/Grandpa. Your love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved you and those you loved.
