Robert (“Bob”) Stephan Martin, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Sep. 17, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Bob was born on Aug. 21, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was the son of the late Shelby Martin and Lucille Smith-Martin.  Bob grew up in Cresson, TX and graduated from high school in Roswell, NM. He attended New Mexico State University pursuing his interest in archaeology.   Bob enjoyed golf, motorcycles, archaeology and fishing.  He was a member of the Granbury Lions Club and enjoyed volunteering with the Patriot Guard Riders.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shelby Line and sister Jo Ann Purselley.  Bob is survived by his wife, Betty Harris-Martin, daughter Angela Christian and son-in-law, Mark Christian, of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter Summer Bartlett and son-in-law Houston Bartlett of Fort Worth, Texas; step-daughter Sarah Harris-Horn and husband Greg Horn of Harlingen, Texas; step-son Chris Harris and wife Meredith of Hewitt, Texas; step-son Bryan Harris and fiancé Amanda Westfall of Indianapolis, Indiana.  Bob is survived by granddaughters Bailey Bartlett, Ashlin Bartlett, and Jaimee Harris; grandsons Dylan Christian, Cole Christian, Robert Harris, Michael Harris, Andrew Horn, Ben Horn, William Horn and Gavin Harris.

A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 21st at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway, Drive, Waco, TX with a reception/visitation immediately following.  The interment of ashes will be in Cresson, Tx at a later date.  Please wear your #BobStrong bracelet if you have one.
