Rick Rodriguez

Biography

Rick Rodriguez, 58, of Austin, was called to be with our Lord, September 14, 2011. The recitation of the rosary will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept 16 with visitation shortly after at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will commence at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept 17 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, and burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.

Rick was born in Austin, TX to Bertha Saucedo. He also spent precious time with his grandparents "Ama" and "Apa" Saucedo who were very special to him.
Rick enjoyed being with his family and especially spending time with his two grandchildren, Brock and Austin. He was a proud member of the military and served in various places. Thereafter Rick and his Wife, Mary Ann settled down in Hewitt, TX and made a living through entrepreneurship.

Rick was preceded in death by his son Aaron Rodriguez whom he cherished his moments with.

Rick is survived and held in Loving memory by his wife, Mary Ann Rodriguez; his two sons Rick and Erik Rodriguez; and daughter-in-law, Amanda Rodriguez with her two sons Brock and Austin Rodriguez; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who dearly love him.

The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas E. Hutson and the staff at Baylor University Medical Center along with the staff at Providence Hospital and Providence Hospice of Waco, Texas.
