Richard Joseph Schiltz (Dick) was born January 26,1939 in Tripp, South Dakota to Lawrence Peter Schiltz and Isabel Schiltz. After graduation from high school Dick entered the Navy and served his country during Vietnam. While stationed in Revere, Massachusetts he met and married the single love of his life, Isabel Cypriano. They recently celebrated their 59th anniversary just prior to his death. In 1963, Isabel and Dick relocated to Chicago and worked for Braniff Airlines for twenty-one years and relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada. Dick Schiltz is survived by his wife Isabel Schiltz, five children (Linda Brown, Darlene Wolf, Tracy Loggins, Richie Schiltz, and Kevin Schiltz), ten grandchildren (Bria-Marie, Melissa, John Jr., Zachary, Nicole, Taelor, Joey, Lia, Sebastian, and Isabel) and blessed with four great-great grandchildren (Tristian, Joey Jr., Landon, Alli). Dick was preceded in death by both his parents and brother, Herb Schiltz. He is survived by sister Jo Rita Feeken who lives in Worthington, Minnesota.
Dick's life was filled with family and was the true source of his joy and pride. Additionally, he was an avid bowler, reader, Nascar and football fan. His favorite teams were the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.
