Rebecca Edwards

Rebecca Lynn Neal Edwards, aged 41 of Woodway, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11 am at Mooreville Methodist Church. Following the service, a luncheon will be served for all friends and family.

Rebecca was born on September 27, 1982, in Temple, Texas, to loving parents Cecelia and Floyd Harold Neal. She graduated from Bruceville Eddy High School and pursued her passion for nursing at MCC Nursing School. Throughout her career, she dedicated her skills to serving others at Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion as a devoted wife to Brandon Edwards and a cherished mother to her son, Christopher Hiatt, whom she adored with all her heart. She will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Surviving her are her parents, Floyd and Cecelia; sister, Tracey Maddox; brother, Billy Neal; son, Christopher Hiatt; nieces, Rosie Maddox and Robyn Neal; nephew, Zachary Hamilton, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

Rebecca is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Mary and George Neal, as well as Tom and Libby Threadgill, and her sister, Robyn Denise McCowan.

In tributes and memories reflecting her compassionate spirit, Rebecca's life will be celebrated, and her legacy of kindness and love will be forever cherished by all those who were touched by her presence.
