Raysen Rankin

Raysen Lee Rankin passed away at 5 months old on Monday October 22, 2012 at home in the arms of his mother. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday October 26, 2012 at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Krista Gregory officiating.

Raysen was born on May 8, 2012 in Austin, Texas to Sydney Wilcox and Tommy Rankin at Seton Medical Center where he was diagnosed with Smith Lemli Opitz Syndrome. Raysen was brought into this world to show the love and compassion that most people have forgotten. He could always bring a smile to someone’s face. He was much loved and will be missed by many.

Raysen is survived by his mother Sydney Wilcox and his father Tommy Rankin. His maternal grandparents Tammy and Steve Turner, his Aunt Alex Turner and his great grandfather Leman Clarkson (Papa) and his great grandmother Margaret Turner (Grandma). He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Lorie and Jess Rankin, his Aunts Amber Fuller and Brandi Reed, his great grandfather Tom Rankin (Papa), his other great grandfather David Ishmael (Papa Dinky), and his great grandmother Betty Jones (Grandma Tootsie) and many other relatives.

A celebration of his life will follow the ceremony with the place to be determined later.
