Lee Stafford passed away Sunday, July 17, 2016 surrounded by his family in Waco, TX. Lee was born Jan. 9, 1924 in Tebbetts, MO to William and Amanda Suggett Stafford.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Solid Rock Family Church, 508 Hunters Run, Jefferson City, MO. He served his country in both WW II and the Korean Conflict. After his service, he was employed as a plumber, became an insurance salesman and founder/owner of PALS Realty. In retirement his favorite saying was “Just trying to make a living without working”.

Lee is survived by his wife of 18 years, Louise of Woodway, TX; two daughters: Lois and husband Tom Kliethermes, Sandy and husband George Reynolds, all of Holts Summit, MO; two sons: Rod and wife Alicia Stafford of Springfield, MO, Randy and wife Bev Stafford of Holts Summit, MO; stepdaughter Tammy and husband Damon Smith of Arlington, TX; stepson Dickie and wife Laura Thaxton of Sealy, TX; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sister-in-law, Laverne Stafford of Holts Summit, MO. Lee was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Wanda Hartman Stafford, one brother, one grandson, and step-daughter-in-law.
