Priscilla Gowens

Priscilla "Tippy" Gowens, 75, of Waco, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Drive. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Tippy was born October 4, 1939, in Lubbock, Texas to Wynn and Babe Breedlove. She married Norman Gowens February 27, 1959. They moved to Waco in 1955. She was a member of the Waco Primitive Baptist Church.Tippy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 56 years, Norman; her two daughters, Shelly Raines and husband Charley, and Kari Gowens. She has five grandchildren, Jeffrey Raines and wife, Sarah, Kristen and husband, Jonathan Eaves, Brian Raines and wife, Tiffany, Morgan Cocke and Kenzie Cocke. Tippy "Great Gran" was proud to welcome her first great-granddaughter, Raedyn Faith Raines.
