Peter Rebando

Peter Rebando passed away May 8, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 11, from 6-8 p.m., at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 12, at 11 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church with Pastor Stephen Rynearson and Pastor Mennige officiating, with soloist Shane Christian of Robinson. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Peter married Beverly Londenberg, on May 15, 1965. Peter served in the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, and retired from the US Army Reserves, the 384th Engineers in Waco, after proudly serving 23 years, which included service in Desert Storm. Peter also retired from Hafford Equipment. He was a member of the VFW Post in Hewitt, and Peace Lutheran Church also in Hewitt.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents, Peter J. Rebando and Margaret Rebando of New York.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Beverly; two sons, Rick Rebando and wife Bobbie of Lampasas, and Joey Rebando; daughter Robin Hardin and husband Jason of Lorena; grandchildren Megan and Hunter Rebando, Kayla Hardin, Haley Pack, and Aaron and Jolie Rebando; brother Roger Rebando and wife Camille of Bethpage, NY; four nieces; and five nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rick Rebando, Joey Rebando, Jason Hardin, Shane Christian, Edwin Londenberg and Gilbert Londenberg.
