Patty Garcia

“Patty” Earline Garcia, 67, of Waco, Texas passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024, in Waco, Texas. A celebration of Patty’s life will take place Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 1:30pm at Grace Gardens with Avaristo Garcia officiating. A time of visitation with family and friends will be the hour prior to the service from 12:30 – 1:30pm.

Patty was born on November 25, 1956, in Waco, Texas to Chester Lewis and Ollie Mae Dabbs.

Patty graduated from Bruceville- Eddy High School in 1976. In 1978 she went to work for Owen – Illinois Glass Plant until retirement in 2003. During her employment she met, cherished and loved many friends.

Patty was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with family, playing Bingo, Go Monopoly Go and was in a bowling league.

Patty was baptized with her stepson, Joseph, in 1977 and rededicated her life to Christ with her siter, Paula, in 2005.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Catherine Warren and Paula Sohns, Brother – in – laws, Lonnie Coone, Roy Sohns, Johnny Warren and Charles Warren. Her stepson, Michael Shane Garcia, Nephew, Darrell “Scott” Dabbs, great niece, Destanie “DeDe” Danielle Kemp and dear friend, Sharon Rae Low.

Patty is survived by her two daughters, Misty Breedlove and Tina Dabbs and grandson Chandler Hezekiah Dabbs, stepsons, Damon Garcia, Avaristo Garcia, Joseph Garcia and Andrew Garcia, her two sisters, Carole Coone and Connie Warren as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Honorable pallbearers include Skylar Warren, Tanner and Tyler Gray, Lane and Austin Sohns, Bandon DeLeon, Terry and Corey Sohns.
