Patsy Cockerham

Patsy (Pat) Cockerham went to be with the Lord February 25, 2018, at the age of 78. She was truly our angel here on earth and now is in Heaven dancing again with her beloved Bill.

On July 17, 1939, Patsy was born the daughter of the late Willie Samuel and Maudie (Watson) Franks in Burleson County, Snook, Texas.

During her working career, she was employed as a clerical supervisor for an insurance company in Dallas for 23 years before retiring in 1993. On January 11, 1964, she married William H. Cockerham in Houston.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, her granddaughter Hailey, her parents Willie and Maudie, and countless other family members and friends she loved dearly.

Survivors include her sons, Mark Cockerham and wife Connie of Seguin, Tim Cockerham and wife Carrie of San Antonio, and Todd Cockerham and wife Cyndi of Hewitt. Patsy is also survived by six precious grandchildren, Zachary, Spencer, Trevor, Ashlee, Kyle, and Chad. She is also survived by 2 sisters Dorothy Ellison and husband Bernard of Houston and Delores David and husband Charles of Calvert, and her brother Douglas Franks and wife Ginger of Hilltop Lakes.

Her greatest joys in life were serving her Lord and caring for her family. She will be remembered for her love of collecting angels, her compassionate heart and listening ear.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Lone Oak Baptist Church in Snook Texas, 5200 FM 60, Snook, TX with inurnment following the service.
