Patricio Trevino Escalona, Sr., passed away on March 23, 2011 peacefully with his wife and family by his side. Services will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Turning Point Church in Robinson. A visitation will be held Friday, March 25, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Burial will take place on Monday, March 28, at 3:00 p.m. at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Patricio is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Celestina Escalona.
Patricio is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irma; his daughter Rose Blankenship and husband Randy of Waco; son Patricio Escalona, Jr. and wife Lisa of San Diego, CA. His three sisters, Cecilia, Narcissa, Irene, and two brothers, Evaristo and Paul, all of Victoria, TX ; seven grandchildren and three great-grand children.

Patricio proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1967. After leaving the Navy in 1967, he resided in Victoria, where he worked as a carpenter until moving to Waco,TX in 2008. He was a member of Turning Point Church in Robinson.
