Patricia Ann (Tiner) Smith

Pat Smith, 86, of Waco, was reunited in Heaven with her husband Perry on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.  A Visitation with her family will be 5-7 pm, Thursday, May 4th at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.  A Graveside Service will be 10 am, Friday, May 5th at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Roy Marshall officiating.

Patricia Ann Tiner Smith was born January 31, 1937 in Waco, Texas to Thomas and Louese Tiner.  She was one of four children.  She grew up in Waco and graduated from Waco High School.  She met the love of her life, Perry Smith, and after the couple married, they moved to California where Perry served in the United States Marines.  When they returned to Texas, they began their family.

Pat worked in banking until her retirement.  Pat enjoyed many crafts, she was an exceptional quilter and seamstress.  She also cross stitched and did needlepoint.  Pat enjoyed being outdoors as well, she kept a beautiful garden, and was part of a camping group.  She will be forever remembered for her amazing hamburgers, which you would be served if you were at her home on a Friday night. She enjoyed canning a variety of vegetables from her garden. She always hosted the entire family for the full traditional Thanksgiving meal.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost sixty years, Perry; parents; siblings; and a brother-in-law.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, James Perry Smith, Jr. and wife Karen, Susan Hughes and husband Rick, Dale Smith and wife Teresa, Jani Rodriquez and husband Manuel; thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and extended family.
