Patricia McCartney

Patricia Lynn McCartney passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Services and a time of remembrance will take place on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2pm - 6pm at her beloved long time friend, Laurel Meadors home. 

Patricia was born January 25, 1957 in Waco, Texas to Helen (Allison) and Wallace Smith and was the youngest of three siblings. Growing up Patty enjoyed horses and spending time outside while picking wildflowers in the fields. Patty especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and always had her fur baby, Debra Lynn, along for the ride. In her adult life Patty enjoyed playing slot machines and cooking meals and baked goods for anyone that was hungry and needed a fill. Patty prided herself on giving others a helping hand and was generous to all those around her often putting others needs before her own. 

Left to cherish Pattys memory are her sisters Pamela Brown and Judy Hamlin, long time beloved friend Laurel Meadors, Long time love and companion, Tommy “The Horseshoe Man” Robinson, nieces Mandy Blaylock and Holly Hitchcock, great nieces Jade and Cameron Washington and cousins DeeDee Oliver and David Ray Allison. 

Those Patty was so excited to see again are her parents Helen (Allison) and Wallace Smith, Son David Reid McCartney, grandparents Big Daddy and Big Momma Allison.
