Pamela Richards

Pamela Sue Richards, age 61, of Lorena, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at her home with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be 2PM Wednesday December 29, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday December 28, 2010 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Pam was born September 1, 1949, in Houston, Texas, to Claude and Marie Bailey.

Pam married Calvin Richards on August 12, 1966. After moving to Lorena in 1979, she and Calvin proceeded to build a beautiful home together and to concentrate on family life.

Pam is preceded in death by her sister, Margie Mueller and her brother, Coy Bailey.

She is survived by three brothers, Claude Bailey Jr, of Waco, Travis Bailey, of Hewitt and Curtis Bailey, of Moody; her daughter, Daphne Richards, of Austin; her son, Charles Richards and her grandson, Colton Richards, both of Lorena.

Pam was always strong in the face of adversity and lived each day with joy. She was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved sunflowers, sitting by a roaring fire in winter, and the Pink Panther movies. She had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious laugh, and a beautiful smile for everyone she met. She loved nothing better than spending time with her family, especially her grandson, and annual family reunions were her favorite time of year. She was always happy when out on the lake fishing, and in her youth she loved to go deer hunting with her father, her older brothers, and her husband. She loved everyone in her life and brought joy to everyone who knew her. She will be missed by her family and a multitude of loving friends.
