Beloved Minodora Tanase, age 66, left her earthly body on September 17, 2022 to be with the Lord whom she loved and served with all her being. A funeral service will be 1 pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway. Interment will follow at Axtell Cemetery. A Visitation will begin at 12 pm, Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
Minodora was born in 1956 in Gottlob, Romania into a large family where she was one of 16 children. She was influenced by her family early on to be a loving and faith-driven woman, always serving and caring for others.
Through her love for, and belief in Christ, Minodora spent her days as a loving mother of five children and an adoring wife to her late husband Romeo “Romicâ” Tanase, who passed away only four months prior. She met her husband, Romeo, while living in Romania. She loved his honesty, how they understood each other, and admittedly thought he was handsome. They both shared a love for family and would soon decide to begin their own. As a mother, she was selfless, loving, and nurturing and she also took great pride in being a grandmother to her three grandchildren.
She committed her life to service, often by baking, especially her large loaves of bread, and cooking for those she loved and cared for, and simply positioned herself to meet needs wherever they existed. Needless to say, Minodora personified hospitality.
She loved to spend her days with her family and grandchildren, visiting friends, reading her Bible, and playing dominoes and other tabletop games. Beyond these great joys, however, it was forever evident her deepest passion in life was working to become the hands and feet of Jesus, which was illustrated most by simply loving and serving those around her. Minodora left her temporary home here on earth with an unshakable faith which had been forged throughout years of commitment, sacrifice, overcoming challenges, and witnessing God’s work within her, her family, and her friend's lives. She possessed the most positive and loving spirit, ministering to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and especially her children: Son; Romeo Valentin Tanase and wife Laura Tanase; Daughters; Alina Maricela Tanase, Ramona Tanasa, Corina Tanasa, Lavinia Tanasa; Grandchildren; Alexa Tanase, Evan Tanase, Natalie Tanase - all of whom will continue to adore her with all their hearts.
We would love to give a special thanks to the Getterman and Rapoport families for the love and support they have showed our mom throughout the years.
