We come together to remember and celebrate the life of Minnie Wheeler, a beloved mother, friend, grandmother, daughter, wife and aunt.
Minnie Wheeler grew up in a small town (Lott, TX). Although she always referred to her hometown as being raised in “The Sticks”. Anyone who knew Minnie would say she had a heart of gold. She left home at just 14 years old to provide for her family (siblings & mother).Minnie was a hard worker and a dreamer. While working in Waco,TX she fell in love with her husband Jim Wheeler and they proceeded to have two children Debbie Wheeler Winkler and James Dean Wheeler.
Minnie was known for being an outstanding mother to her two children and later became a loving grandmother who always devoted her time to her family. Minnie gave everything in life without the intention of receiving anything back. I will always remember the time Minnie argued with the waitress about serving her rooster instead of chicken. Minnie always lived life to the fullest and waited patiently for the day she could reunite with her husband and children. She loved fiercely and always put her family first.
She is preceded in death by her husband (Jim Wheeler), and her children (Debbie Wheeler Winkler & James Dean Wheeler) and survived by her grandchildren (James Westly Wheeler, Lauren Reel, & Whitney Wheeler) her Great-grandchildren (Jackson Bagley & Luke Bagley) and daughter in law (Penny Fisk).
