Mildred Robinson

Mildred “Jeanie” Robinson, 79 of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco, Texas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 01, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on I-35 in Waco with Brother Al Spencer officiating.

Jeanie was born in Big Spring Texas to Carl and Elizabeth Majors. She spent many years of her life in Southern California before settling in Hamilton Texas. She married the love of her life, James, on October 31, 1962. She was a homemaker who enjoyed zealously serving in the ministry as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She was a very energetic and loving person. Jeanie showed the true meaning of love, not only to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but also to her spiritual brothers and sisters. She had a deep love for singing and animals, especially horses.

Jeanie is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Robinson; mother, Mary Elizabeth Pinkston; father, Carl Majors; brother, Jimmy Majors; daughter, Linda Robinson –Hull; son, William Evenson; Aunt, Ernestine “Tiny” Styber.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Jonna Wright of Poteet and Brenda Robinson-Salgado of Corona, California. Daughters Ruthie Kelley of San Diego, California; Tammara Calhoun of Hamilton; Sonya Robinson of Floresville. Cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Sutton and husband Charles of Axtell; Grandchildren Todd Chelsey Robinson, Gerald Evenson, Michael Evenson, Alicia Armstrong, Mellissa Craczk, Laura Graczyk, Colt Hull, Rex Hull, and Montana Hull; and 12 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Scott and White Hospice and the nurses at 4 North and SICU at Hillcrest for providing such loving care.
