Mildred Hurt

Mildred Nadine Joyner Hurt, 76, of Waco, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015. Funeral Services will be 10 am, Friday, June 26, 2015 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Mildred was born on July 24, 1938 to Joe and Katie Lelene Joyner in Lorena, Texas. She went to school in Lorena and lived in the Lorena area for most of her life. She was married to Thomas E. Dawson for 25 years and they had five kids. Later she married Bucky Hurt. She was a loving mother, grand, great and great -great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bucky and two sisters, Jeanette Peters and Pat Fischer.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Dawson Jr. of Axtell, David Dawson of Bruceville, and Dean Dawson of Axtell, two daughters, Mary Jones and husband Roland of Dougasville, Georgia and Kathy Dawson of Bruceville, three sisters; Joyce Schaeper of Hewitt, Sylvia Rowe of Waco, Linda Peters and husband Johnny, one brother Kenneth Adams and wife Edna, eight grandchildren, 11 great grand children and one great- great grandchild..
