Mike Keathley, 63, of Hallsburg passed away September 2, 2021 after weeks of fighting complications associated with Covid pneumonia. The Visitation be from 1-2:30PM, Friday, September 10, 2021 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, with Dr. Edward Smith officiating.
Mike was born September 30, 1957 in San Antonio, Tx to Rudolph and Gertrude Keathley. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and traveled the world. After 4 years of service Mike was honorably discharged where he went onto follow his dream of becoming a police officer. While working in Navasota, Tx he met his wife Tina Parker and they were married on December 7, 1984 in Anderson, Tx.
For twenty-two years, Mike was employed as a police officer. For the last six years of Mike’s career he served in West, Tx becoming the city Marshal among other duties. He loved working with the people of West and being apart of their community.
In his off-time Mike enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, playing with his dogs, and working on computers.
He is survived by his wife Tina Keathley. His daughters Kyl, Kenzi, and Kassidy Keathley.
