Michael Lynn Hargrove

Michael “Mike” Lynn Hargrove, 48, of Waco, was welcomed into Heaven by his son on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.  A Funeral Service will be 10 am, Monday, December 5, 2022 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Grace Gardens.

Mike was born April, 23, 1974 to Coleman and Beryl Hargrove in Waco, Texas.  He was the first of three children.  He attended La Vega High School.  He pursued his passion of building by painting and doing contract work on homes and businesses.

He was a self-proclaimed professional of all he did, fishing, boating, hunting, motorcycling, and many other pursuits.  All these talents were self-taught.  There was nothing that he could not fix.  His greatest joy was caring for others, often by feeding them.  Mike was the one to call with any problem.

In 2014, he married his soul mate, Tammy DeHerrera. They created a blended family that loved each other well. If you were one of his, you were loved fiercely and unconditionally. Mike was a big teddy bear and children gravitated to him, and he to them. Mike will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his father; and his son, Michael (Mider) Lynn Hargrove, Jr.

Left to carry on his legacy are his beloved wife; mother; sisters, Kathy Biles and husband Bubba, Aubreyona Ellis and husband Casey; adored children, Christopher Young, Farrin DeHerrera, Abigal DeHerrera, Dalton DeHerrera, Landon McFee; treasured grandbabies, Jacob, Evan, Olivia, Lincoln, Amelia, and Harlei; nieces and nephews, Danielle Biles, Shyane Biles, Little Bubba; great niece, Emme; and numerous friends and extended family.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Providence ICU and especially Taylor for their excellent care for Mike.
