Mary Roane

On Wednesday, February 6th, Mary Ann Roane passed away peacefully at the age of 71 in Waco.

She was born on June 30, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and MeMe, who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mary was generous, fun, hard headed and most of all, loving. She loved having company, enjoying great conversations and laughs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janie Crabtree and Juanita Coleman; brothers, Robert and Willie Sheren.

Lovingly celebrated and remembered by her husband of 17 years, Davis and their daughters, Trish Nisbet and husband, David, Michelle Whitecotton and husband, Donny; sons, Dane Roane and Dean Roane; grandchildren, Brandon McGee And wife, Dana, Shelby McGee, Ashton Nisbet, Emily Nisbet, Brady Whitecotton and Tyler Whitecotton; great granddaughter, Iris McGee and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

All are welcome to gather with Mary’s family on Sunday, February 17th, for a celebration of life from 2 to 4PM at Lake Air Apartments’ Clubhouse, 1625 Wooded Acres Dr Waco, TX 76710.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Providence Foundation, in honor of the doctors and nurses at Providence ICU, 6901 Medical Parkway Waco, TX 76712.
