Mary Priest

Mary L. Priest age 63, of McGregor passed away Saturday August 20,2011 at her residence with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be 10AM Thursday August 25, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charlie Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby.

Mary was born July 19, 1948 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Columbus and Jesse Durant. Mary attended MCC and received her Medication Aide License in 1995. She was a long time employee of Westview Manor Nursing Home in McGregor. Mary was a devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her world.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; the father of her children, Robert J. Priest; brother, Jerry Durant; sisters, Phyllis Hedden and Jewel Nichols.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Amanda Greeley and husband, Daniel Greeley, III and Kristy Lindsey and husband, Michael Lindsey; six Grandchildren, Nathaniel, Abigail, Joshua, Jacob, Bethany, and one on the way; brothers, Jim Durant and Bobby Durant; sisters, Kay Herrington, Glenda Morency, Connie Devallie, and Robin Howard.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Scott and White Hospice.
