Mary Perkins

Mary B. Perkins, 90, of Waco went to heaven Wednesday, May 11, 2016. Per Mother's wishes a graveside service, scheduled for Monday, May 16th at 2 PM will be held at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Matt Bailey officiating.

Mary was born August 13, 1925 in Clarksburg, W. VA to the late Marie Props Maxwell and Earl A. Maxwell.

Upon moving to Waco in 1957 she worked many years for Dr. Corbet Locke, OB/GYN and upon retiring decided to pursue another career and worked for Wilkirson Hatch-Bailey Funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvis Perkins, son-in-Iaws Michael Mulligan and James Scott.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories three children. Son, Thomas Perkins, and daughters Barbara Scott and Shirley Mulligan.

A special thanks to Providence Hospice and St. Catherine's Center and especially her wonderful caregivers Gertrude Douglas who cared for Mother for six years and also Jerlene Evans who helped care for Mother this past year.
