Mary Ann Hampton Muller was called home by our Lord April 7, 2012. Mary was born June 19, 1946 in Tuscumbia Alabama. She married Jean Arthur Muller Jr. on December 23, 1967 in Fort Worth Texas.
Mary’s passions in life were her family and friends, her dogs, and being active in the hobby of gems and minerals. She served the South Central Federation of Mineralogical Societies in many capacities included as the All American Education Chair for the past several years.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents Charles H. (Mac) McVay and Grace Hampton McVay.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years Jean A. Muller, daughters Beth Muller and Erica (Nikki) Muller, her aunt Dorothy Jean Bendall of Leighton Alabama, numerous cousins, and many beloved friends who will remember her as “tall and blonde with a smile for everyone.”
The family gratefully acknowledges the people of The Scott and White and Hillcrest hospitals, home health and hospice care.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to a charity of your choice or to the South Central Federation scholarship fund.
