Mary (Jackson) Ellis

Mary Ann Ellis, 87, of Seneca Falls, passed away peacefully October 5, 2022 in Cleburne, TX.

Mary was born September 14, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY and graduated from Niagara Falls High School. She married the love of her life, James V. Ellis Jr. in 1955.

For twenty years, Mary traveled the world in support of Jim's career in the U.S. Army while raising their six children. Her travels took her to Austria, France, Germany, Okinawa, Virginia, Texas and Washington. Mary was an active volunteer for the Elks. She enjoyed playing euchre and always welcomed family and friends to her home with plenty of fresh baked goods and a stocked refrigerator.

She is survived by her six children: Robin DeMetro, Jackie (Bob) Ackerman, Jim (Richard) Ellis, Mike (Cindy) Ellis, Tom (Connie) Ellis and Mary Jane (Bob) Reynolds, thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and her Sister Judy Apperson. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Jim and brothers Bob and Chuck.
