Mary Davis

Mary Jane Davis, born in Ennis, Texas on October 11, 1940, passed away on February 24, 2012. Funeral services are at Crestview Church of Christ on Sunday, February 26, at 2 p.m., with burial in her home town of Ennis, Texas on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Myrtle Cemetery.

She lived and worked as a certified registered nurse anesthetist and later as a nursing service administrator for Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. Upon retirement, she moved to Waco, Texas to be closer to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alma and George Davis. Living siblings include Gail Davis and Dinah Young of Waco, Texas, Joan McCauley of Sunnyvale, Texas and George Davis of Ennis, Texas. She also was blessed with a loyal and special best friend in Judy Christensen of Waco, Texas. Jane enjoyed being a wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss you terribly, Janie.
