Marvin was born Sept. 16, 1949 in Pontiac, MI to Charles "Carter" and Ana Elizabeth Napier. In his early years, Marvin enlisted in the US Army, obtained sniper training, and was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving from 1969-1971. Marvin was a painter and retired from the VA hospital in Dayton, OH. You could say he was a road warrior who loved driving across the country with the top down, wind blowing, and listening to Hank, Willie, and George.
He is preceded in death by his parents, loving wife, Carolyn Napier; siblings, Charles Napier, Evelyn Adkins, Helen Tibbs, James Curtis Partin, Elmer, Partin, and Delmer Partin; son, James Edward Napier; and daughter, Buffy Ann Napier.
Marvin is survived by his daughter, Lisa Marie Napier; grandchildren, Tyler Simpson and Dylan Napier; great-grandson, Dylan Napier, Jr.; siblings, Christine Barnett, Shirley Riggs, Roy Lee Napier, and Carolyn Sue Napier; and The Crevenkovski, our extended family, as well as the never ending list of others who shared love, laughter, and memories with our Marvin.
