Marietta A (Abaigar) Pollard

November 11, 1964 — November 20, 2023

Robinson, Texas

Marietta A. Pollard November 11, 1964 - November 20, 2023 of Robinson, Texas made her final journey Home peacefully, surrounded by her family.  Marietta was born in Manila Philippines and moved to the United States after marrying her great love, David C. Pollard.

She was the family matriarch, bringing her children and their families together at the holidays and instilling in them the importance of always loving one another and remaining close.  Marietta loved cooking delicious Filipino cuisines, holding close to heart her “secret recipes”, entertaining family & friends, and singing karaoke, which she was a natural talent.

Marietta was preceded in death by her mother, Webina Ringcal and sister Marlene Abaigar.  She is survived by devoted husband of 39 years, David C. Pollard, her three loving children, daughter, Maria L. Brown (son-in-law Keith Brown, grandsons Jack & Gage Brown), son, Joseph C. Pollard (Ashley Miller, granddaughters Sami & Charlee Pollard), and daughter, Marion L. Vanous (son-in-law Jacob Vanous, and granddaughters Kendalynn & soon-to-be, Carter Vanous), her older sister Josephine Abaigar, younger sisters, Annabelle Abaigar & Jennifer Ringcal, nephews, William & Edmond Abaigar, nephew Khairul Ringcal, nieces Nurul and Hanissah Ringcal, and her beloved rescue cat named Domino.

Marietta was a devout Catholic and proud member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco, TX.  She was truly an Angel on Earth who will be forever missed by all of her family and friends.
