Marie Murphy

Marie Malvina Murphy, 95, of Hewitt passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr., with Mr. Johnny Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Marie was born to Joe Krizan and Hattie Maler Krizan on April 18, 1922 in the Community of Cottonwood, Texas outside of West. She was a long standing member of Columbus Ave. Church of Christ and a devout Christian lady.

Marie was preceeded in death by her husband Rembert Ross Murphy Sr.; sons Rembert Murphy, Jr., Henry Murphy; daughters Rosemary Witt, Malvina Hunter Kultgen; brothers Rudolph, Walter, and Herman Krizan.

Survivors include daughters, Patsy Dellinger and husband Dale, Linda Milligan and husband Ed., and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
