Maria Palacios De Diaz

Maria de La Luz was born September 2, 1957, to Miguel Palacios Mejia and Celia Garcia Lopez in Dolores Hidalgo, GTO., Mexico. Growing up in Mexico. She married Felipe Diaz Sanchez on July 5, 1978, in Dolores Hidalgo, GTO, MX which they had 6 children. She moved to Waco in March 1986.

Maria loved music, singing and dancing, she was so much fun to be around because she loved life, but she loved her grandchildren most of all.  She served ST. Francis Church for years she was a Guadalupana and a Cursillista.

She was preceded in death by her daughters: Maria Diaz and Marta Fabiola Diaz, grandparents: Abraham Palacios, Maria Alberta Mejia, Jacinto Garcia and Lorenza Lopez Aviles, her cousin: Martin Palacios, her aunt: Guillerma Palacios and her sweet angel her father: Miguel Palacios.

Survivors include, mother, Celia Garcia; sisters; brothers;  her three sons Fermin Diaz, and his 2 daughters Anahi and Edith Guadalupe, and Miguel Diaz and wife Carol Deleon and their 5 children Miguel, Jordan, Jalissa, Devin and Jazmine. Felipe Diaz and wife Oletia Cochran and their 3 stepchildren Alex, Mitchell Cochran and Cassondra Black and her daughter Francisca Martinez and husband Felipe Martinez and their 3 sons Luiz, Adrianne and Osvaldo. One great grandson Kylan.
