Manuel Vela

Manuel Vela, 93, of Moody, passed away Jan 17, 2013. Funeral Services will be held Sat Jan 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of San Juan Chapel in Moody, TX. with burial to follow at Old Perry Cemetery. Visitation will be held Fri Jan 18, from 6-7 p.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Recitation of the Rosary starting at 7 p.m.

Manuel was born in Cadereita, Mexico, to Jesus and Maria Vela on November 17, 1919. Manuel married Juanita Vela and from this union fourteen children were born, and he was a very loving father.

Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; son Ruben Vela; and daughter Joanie Jaramillo.
