Madisyn Paige VanSyckle

January 4, 2000 — February 4, 2025

Mart, Texas

Madisyn Paige Vansyckle of Waco, TX entered the gates of Heaven at age 25. In her short life, Madisyn was a blessing to those who knew her while making the day brighter for all she encountered. She brought laughter and warmth to everyone she met and leaves an indelible mark on the lives of many.

Madisyn was a 2018 graduate of University High School in Waco where she proudly graduated in the top 6% of her class. From her childhood through her early adult years, she helped her dad with his business. Her desire to serve others and her community led her to join the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office as a corrections officer where she achieved the rank of Corporal. She upheld her duties with strength, commitment, and compassion while being a steadfast presence to her peers.

Beyond her career, she was a cherished daughter, sister, and friend who was known for her kindness, loyalty, and deep love that she held toward her family and friends. Madisyn’s death is a profound loss to all who knew her, but her legacy will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched. She will be remembered not by how she left this life, but by the love, dedication, and light she shed during her time here.

Madisyn is survived by her father, Thomas Vansyckle, and wife, Cindy; her mother, Leann Vansyckle, of Waco; her brother, Tyler Vansyckle, of Waco; her brother, Spencer Vansyckle, and fiancé, Mayra, of Waco; her step-sister Alicia Wilson, and husband, Michael, of Hewitt; step-brother, Andrew Payne, and wife, Alisa, of Hewitt; step-sister, Amber Kutej, and husband, Bryan, of Temple; step-sister Chelsey Payne of Killeen; grandfather, Don Kile, of Waco; grandmother, Madelyn Lynch, of Kearney, NE; Uncles Dale Fritson of Kearney, NE and Don Fritson of Macon, NE; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on February 15, from 2-4 PM, at Hennigan Venue, 357 Neville Drive in Lorena, TX. Madisyn’s favorite plants were cacti, therefore in lieu of flowers, please send cacti.
