Lisa “Jill” Bukowski of Hewitt, TX passed in peace on August 21st, 2023 just shy of her 63rd birthday. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a loving wife, mother, sister, artist, adventurer, passionate friend, and all-around good time.
Jill was the youngest of three daughters born in Portales, New Mexico to Bill and Lois Vance. She graduated from ENMU with a degree in graphic design. An education would not be the only thing she took with her when she left; she had forged lifelong relationships that would span cities, states, and even countries. Once she arrived in Texas, she would continue to add to her ever-expanding social rolodex. She settled in Hewitt, TX after marrying the love of her life. They spent 30 beautiful years raising their four children and welcomed any others that came through the door. She enjoyed her time water coloring, jet-setting, and creating a home that beaconed family and friends.
She has left the Partio in care of her husband, Paul Bukowski of Hewitt, TX; children Lacey and Nick Spencer, Brooke and Jarrod Jennings, Logan and Philip Eby, and Bo Bukowski; grandchildren JaiceyBelle and Daxton Hunter, Laken Spencer, Jace and Jett Jennings, and Molly, Elisha, and Josiah Eby; sisters Judy Crume, Jany Warnica and partner Bill Jones. We would love to acknowledge all the family and friends that have been a part of Jill and her family’s lives, but we simply do not have the space. Rest assured, if you met her, she was your friend and she loved you.
Join us in our celebration of her colorful life at Grace Gardens in Woodway, Texas Saturday, 26 August from 4-6 pm. We welcome your fellowship and sharing stories about our one-of-a-kind mom. And remember, don’t let the truth stand in the way of a good story!
