Lisa Ann Haenisch, of Dallas, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, November 27, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Waco with Rev. Joe Baisden officiating.
Lisa was born on May 25, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, as the first born daughter of Brian and Carol Haenisch. She graduated from Mexia High School and attended Texas A&M University. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and friend to all that knew her.
Lisa had a true entrepreneurial spirit and zest for making her own way through life. She worked in banking, finance and real estate in the College Station, Austin and Dallas areas for a number of years, and spent the past 16 years as a self employed business owner. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, her travels around the world and using her creative and artistic talents.
Lisa will be remembered most for the way she lit up a room with her joyous, fun spirit and for her loyalty and willingness to help and be there for others. She showed incredible tenacity in tackling new ventures and overcoming life’s challenges. Lisa enjoyed the mountains of Colorado and beaches of Mexico, where she often vacationed with family and friends. She shared her loving kindness with all she knew and leaves behind a spirit that will never be forgotten.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Norman Haenisch, maternal grandparents, David and Lucille Norman, and paternal grandparents, Henry and Frances Haenisch.
In addition to her beloved pet shih-tzu, Tai Yu, those left to cherish her memory are her father, Brian, of Valley Mills; sister, Tracie Gumm and husband, Jimmy, of Valley Mills, sister, Kelli Click and husband, Keith, of China Spring, and nephews and nieces, Garrett, Jordan and Grant Gumm, and Morgan and Micah Click, as well as a number of relatives throughout the Central Texas area.
Thanks to all friends who made her life so beautiful and full of joy. By blessing her life, you have richly blessed ours. Lisa’s untimely passing will leave a huge void in our lives and she will be dearly missed until we meet her again. We love her with all our heart!
