Linda Pinkstaff

Linda Sue (Lange) Pinkstaff, 69, passed away suddenly on November 2, 2017.

Linda was born September 9, 1948, in Litchfield, Illinois. She was the only child of

Howard and Dolores (Baker) Lange of Raymond, Illinois. She married Gary J. Pinkstaff on December 30, 1967, in Raymond, Illinois.

Linda traveled with her husband as his U.S. Air Force military career of twenty years stationed him around the United States and overseas in the Philippines. The couple settled in Arizona upon Gary's retirement in 1988.

Linda was an employee of the University of Phoenix from February 1999 until July 2007. She worked in the Records Department of the Registrar's Office.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Gary J. Pinkstaff, on October 22, 2006. She then moved to McGregor, Texas, in 2007.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Susan D. Gentry and husband Tom of Akron, Ohio; a son, David M. Pinkstaff and wife Kristin and grandchildren Andrew (Drew) and Ashley Pinkstaff of McGregor, Texas.

She will be remembered as a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her love was a gift she generously gave to her family and friends.

A private family service to celebrate her life will be held in Texas, and Linda will then be laid to rest in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
