Linda Morgan

Linda Faye Morgan, of Moody, went to be with her Heavenly Father early Thursday morning, March 1, 2012, at the age of 65. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Moody, under the direction Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Wayne McKamie officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday at First Baptist Church of Moody.

Linda Faye was born June 10, 1946, in McGregor, Texas, the daughter of the late Rupert Wesley and Ima Louise (Pursley) Bottoms where she was a 1964 graduate of McGregor High School. On June 11, 1964, she married Louis Weldon Morgan in Moody. She was a member of Johnson Drive Church of Christ in McGregor. Throughout her life she enjoyed being with her husband, children, grandchildren, fishing, baking and shopping.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Naomi Bostick and brother in law's Henry Bostick and Riley Rummel.

Linda is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Weldon Morgan; a son Kirk Morgan, Sr. and wife Rochelle; two daughters, Christy Pruett and husband Justin, Tracey Frisbee and husband Greg all of Moody; two brothers, Wesley Bottoms, Don Bottoms and wife Debra all of McGregor; three sisters, Kaye Hoehn and husband Larry, Jean Smith and husband Roy, and Maxine Rummel all of McGregor; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
