Linda Havis, 63, passed away Monday, September 10th, 2012 at a local hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be 7PM Friday September 14, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
Linda was born August 18th, 1949 in Waco, TX to Max Russell and Rosa Fay Smith. A lover of all things Texas, she lived out her life in the Waco area.
Though Linda explored career opportunities with Holiday Inn, Evangelia and Kirsch Woven Woods, her greatest satisfaction came from her 25+ year career at M&M Mars.
Linda Fay, as she was known by many, will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her love and devotion knew NO boundaries. She had an infectious smile and laugh that will be truly missed. Her many hobbies included her pit bulls, Reagan and Roxy, gardening and enjoying nature, cooking large family meals, expressing her joy of music through playing the piano, and celebrating the holidays and birthdays with her family.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Rosa Fay Smith; brother, James Russell Smith; stepmother, Lillian Smith; and beloved pets, Rocky and Tippi.
Left to cherish her memory are husband, Bruce Havis of Crawford; son, R. Mario Saenz, Jr.; daughter, Tiffany Johnston and husband, Clint of Hewitt; son, Brandon Saenz of Waco; granddaughters, Brooklyn Johnston of Hewitt and Brittany Gohring and husband, Stephen of China Spring; great-grandson, Chandler James Gohring; stepbrother, David Graves of Austin; and her beloved pit bulls, Reagan and Roxy, whom she loved as her children; extended family and many dear friends.
