Jan’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She was happiest when she was in charge of all of us. She
was a loving and generous friend and parent. If you were in need, Jan would do all that she could to
help you. She would give the shirt off her back to make sure someone was cared for. In the last six
months, Jan had used those skills into helping her fellow residents at Wesley Woods Rehabilitation. She
made sure that if she could help someone, she would do it, no matter what it took.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Louis K. Strowger; Her son Louis Kenneth Strowger, Jr and his
wife Brenda, of Bremerton, WA, her son Lawrence Steven Strowger and his wife Michelle of Hewitt, TX,
and her daughter Mary Samantha and husband James Ronnie Neeper, Jr of Colorado Springs, Co. She is

and wife Amanda, Scott Talley, Staci Talley, Joshua Strowger and wife Britany, Jacob Strowger, James
Neeper III, and Daniel Neeper as well as her great-grandchildren Spencer, Sarah, Emma, Cole, Caylee,
Aidan, Kaylee, Meagan, Emilee, Eli. Jan also is survived by her brother Michael Dickey and his wife, as
well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends that became family.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brothers Arnold “ Uncle Bubba” Dickey and Dennis
Dickey, as well as her great-grandchildren, Cristal, Nevaeh, and April.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bonnie Weaver for her many years of friendship
