Larry Bankhead

Larry Otis Bankhead, 75, of McGregor passed away on Friday January 19th in Gatesville. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway. There will be a graveside farewell for the family at Post Oak Cemetery at a future date.

Larry was born in Hico, TX; Larry was an avid family man that will be missed by many. Larry was preceded in death by his father Otis Bankhead, mother Blanche Bankhead, brothers Bill and Lawton Bankhead, sisters Kitty Magee, Margaret Compton, Bobby Jean Tagg, and Juanita Boren, and daughter Tammy Orta. He is survived by son Travis Bankhead and wife Gayla, daughters Brenda Tiedemann and husband Richard, and Stephanie Bankhead and boyfriend Mike Crandall, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.
