Lana Phillips

Lana Kaye Phillips, 70, of Hewitt, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015. A Memorial Service will be atGrace Gardens Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 with a visitation one hour prior to the service with Rev. Scott Talley officiating.
Lana was born on June 27, 1945 in Waco, to Gilbert and Pearl Gruetzner.She graduated from Bruceville Eddy High School. Lana was married to Gene Phillips on March 14, 1964.She worked many years for American Amicable and Central Freight Lines. Lana loved her dogs, spending time with family, reading and doing puzzles.
She is survived by her husband, and her daughter Jennifer Worthen and husband Trevor, three granddaughters; Avery Worthen, Mary Grace "Birdie" Worthen, Ashley Diane Worthen, her two sisters, Joyce Anderson and husband, Frank of Waco and Virginia Webb and her husband, Tom of Katy, TX. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
