Kyra Poteet

Kyra was born on January 22, 1998 to Jesse and Phyllis Poteet of Waco, Texas; she attended La Vega Jr. High School and participated in extracurricular activities until the time of her illness. She was preceded in death by her Grandmother Frankie Casiano and Great Grandparents Percy II and Fannie Spence.

Kyra Poteet, age 14 of Waco, Texas was called from this earth on September 17, 2012 at Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Funeral Services will be at 2pm Saturday September the 22, 2012 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home in Woodway Drive Waco, Texas.

Kyra is survived by her parents Jesse and Phyllis Poteet, three brothers: Jesse and Marcus Poteet, Michael Casiano, two sisters: Katherine Bielss and Michaella Casiano, Paternal Grandparents: Martin and Karen Vergari, Harry Casiano and Frances Torres of Waco, Texas , Tina Smith of Austin, Texas, two Uncles: Josh Vergari, of Lorena. Texas, Harry Casiano and his wife Christine Casiano of Waco, Texas and 1 Great Uncle Percy A. Spence III and his wife Darlene Spence of Selma, Texas: two Aunts Veronica Rayford her husband Andre Rayford and Tammy Casiano of Bellmead, Texas; boyfriend Kyle Mitchell and 1 Great Aunt Fannie Frances Lowe and host of other relatives and friends.

Kyra was always smiling and laughing. She touched everyone she met in a very special way.
