Kimberly died after a lengthy battle with cancer on Friday, May 26, 2017. There will be a celebration of life and worship service 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31st at First Baptist Woodway. A visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30th at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Kimberly Diann Peggram Wellborn was born October 8, 1960, in Dumas, Texas. She was married July 14, 1984, to Arthur Wesley Wellborn, Jr.
She served as a Fourth grade teacher at South Bosque Elementary School for 15 years, and maintained a piano studio in her home.
Her passions were music, car and bike road trips with husband, shopping at Hobby Lobby, baking, serving others in words and deeds, her school children, her
piano students, old movies, working in her yard, rocking and playing with grandbabies, sunsets, taking walks, bargain hunting, and worship.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Peggram.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Wes Wellborn, two daughters, Amber Wellborn and Alyssa Myer and one son, Arthur Wesly, III., three grandchildren, one sister, Kristi Peggram Pennington, and father, Jim Peggram.
In honor of Kimberly's great love of students and music, the family will be setting up a Music Scholarship Fund at Wayland Baptist University, where she attended and met her husband.
