Kimberly Csikos Patterson ended her courageous battle with cancer on January 22, 2016. Kimberly was born in Waco, TX, in 1972, and was a lifelong Central Texas resident. She is survived by her loving husband, Kane and her son Memphis, who is her pride and joy.
Additional survivors are parents Mike and Jimmie Csikos, father-in-law Tommy Patterson,brother, Michael Csikos and wife Lisa , brother-in-law Shane Patterson, sister-in-law D’Ette Craig and husband Brad, nieces McCall Craig, Michaela Csikos, Nina Patterson, Dani Patterson, Ryli Patterson and nephews Austin Patterson, Case Patterson, and Pearson Craig.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Sue Patterson, and nephew Christopher Csikos.
Kimberly was a kind and loving person who made such a positive impact on those she met. She loved all animals including her beloved horse, Farley. Kimberly utilized her energetic spirit in childhood activities such as dance and drill team. After graduating from La Vega High School in 1990, Kimberly pursued her passions of interior decorating and cosmetology. As an adult, she enjoyed spending time riding horses and participating in rodeos as a barrel racer. One of Kimberly’s main strengths was serving others which was exemplified by her devotion to her husband and son. Her most cherished accomplishment was serving as a loving wife and mother and taking care of their home. Kimberly will always be remembered for her determination, fun-loving attitude and ability to make others happy.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Gardens Funeral Home, 8220 Woodway Dr., Woodway, TX 76712, on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. A private burial will follow at St. Martin’s Cemetery in Tours. Pastor Duane Hoxworth will preside over the funeral service. Pall Bearers will be Lance Bell, Brad Craig, Dale Fultz, Chris Hillin, Wes Hillin, Austin Patterson and Honorary Pall Bearer, Memphis Patterson.
In lieu of traditional remembrances, the family has established an education fund for the benefit of Memphis Patterson. Checks can be made payable to “Edward Jones, FBO Memphis Patterson” and mailed to Edward Jones, 518 Sawdust Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380. The family is truly appreciative of the outpouring of support received from loved ones and friends.
