Kenneth Roy Ulibarri Sr.

Kenneth Ulibarri Sr., 69, of Waco, passed away on February 20, 2023 surrounded by loved ones after suffering from complications resulting from a stroke. A funeral service will be 5 PM, Friday, March 17, 2023 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel in Woodway, Texas. An additional memorial service and final burial will take place the following week 11 AM, Friday, March 24, 2023 at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, California.

Kenneth was born to Dennis and Lena Ulibarri. Growing up on a farm, he enjoyed many adventures with his brothers, sisters, and cousins. Kenneth and family later moved to California where he joined the railroad.

Kenneth worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 14 years. During this time, he also joined the Army National Gaurd where he served in the 123rd Maintenance Company. After his time with the railroad, Kenneth worked as a commercial and residential construction contractor. Kenneth completed his career working for the United States Marine Corps as a civil servant for over 20 years. After struggling with declining health, Kenneth retired and moved to Waco TX to live with his Son and family.

He loved being around his family, watching Rams and Laker games, taking walks, drinking coffee and making friends. Kenneth also enjoyed attending church and times of prayer.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Cynthia Ulibarri, Parents Dennis & Lena Ulibarri, and younger brother Malcolm Ulibarri.

Kenneth is survived by his son Kenneth Ulibarri Jr and wife, Angela Ulibarri of Waco TX, daughters Denise & Trisha of Charlotte NC, grandchildren Kenny, Lucas, Leia, Izzy, Alex, Ethan, Cristian & Lucas, brothers Pete Ulibarri of Lancaster CA, Marty Ulibarri & Dennis Ulibarri of Barstow CA, sisters Betty Rodriguez & Theresa Ulibarri of Barstow CA, and their spouses. Additionally, he was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
