Kenneth Eugene Shier

Kenneth Eugene Shier, 76, of Waco passed away peacefully in his sleep, Monday, April 11, 2022.  A visitation with the family will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, April 21st at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.  A Graveside service will be noon, Friday, April 22nd at Waco Memorial Park.

Kenneth was born in Cando, North Dakota on April 16, 1945 to Mildred and Richard Shier.  After school, Kenneth served in the United States Air Force for more than twenty years.  After retiring from the Air Force, he worked as a civilian in international sales.

Kenneth married the love of his life, Barbara Henderson in October 1970.  The couple had two children.  They relocated to Waco, Texas to raise their family so that Kenneth could take a job with Tymco.

After his second retirement, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, western movies, and RVing.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife; and brothers.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Beverly Heady and husband Tony, Michael and wife Donna; grandchildren, Kurtis Heady and wife Ashley, Jourdan Heady and wife Brooke, Colton Shier, Kelci Heady, Kade Shier, and Seth Shier; great grandchildren, Zepplynn, Charleigh, Lyla, Lily, Bexely, Bentley, and numerous special friends and extended family.
