Keith Brunson

Keith William Brunson, Beloved son and brother passed away unexpectedly on the morning of October 5, 2024, at the age of 45. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 11th at First Methodist Church Waco with a reception in the chapel immediately following the service. Pastor Brandon Frenzel will be officiating.

Keith was born on August 24, 1979, in Waco, Texas to Bill and Karen Brunson and graduated from Robinson High School where he was a proud member of the Pride and the Blue award-winning marching band. He continued his education at Stephen F. Austin University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Keith’s love of the retail market led him to positions at PetSmart, HEB, and finally Brookshire’s. His attention to detail, his organizational skills, and his genuine kindness made him a valued employee. Keith will be remembered for his love of animals and his caring, sympathetic concern for others. He made regular donations to Fuzzy Friends and the Methodist Children’s Home, as well as supporting several other charities and fundraisers. His faith in God was the cornerstone of his life. He cherished his close-knit family. Keith and his brother, Greg, had an unbelievably strong bond. They enjoyed some crazy adventures together and made memories that will last a lifetime.

Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Luther and Lucille Brunson and Harold and Martha Haught. 

Keith is survived by his parents, Bill and Karen Brunson, brother, Greg Brunson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
