Keighton R. Farrenkopf age 15, went to be with the Lord Thursday November 10, 2011 at a childrens hospital in Dallas. Funeral Services will be 2PM Sunday at Grace Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy LaBorde officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Saturday November 12, 2011 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.
Keighton was born May 29, 1996 in Denver Colorado to Cameron and Tanya Farrenkopf. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a leader in his church’s children’s program. Cooking was another one of Keighton’s passions. Apart from being a great chef in his own kitchen , he created his own business, “Keighton’s Kreations”, making and and selling jams and jellies since he was 12 years old. He used the proceeds from this endeavor to buy Christmas presents for the children in Dell Children’s Medical Center. He also raised over $12,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation with his business. Keighton had been marketing his products lately to raise money for his family for his future heart transplant. A self-proclaimed “faith-freak”, Keighton praised God all of his life. Keighton’s love of God touched everyone he met. Because of the way Keighton lived his life, people came to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. His love of God translated itself to others even when he was physically unable.
He was preceded in death by his great, great grandmother Harriett Wilson.
Keighton is survived by his parents, Cameron and Tanya(Parker) Farrenkopf, siblings Rayleigh, Parker and Brody Farrenkopf, grandparents Jack and Connie Parker and Jim and Carole Farrenkopf, great grandparents Duane and Doris Wilson, and Jean Clapp, aunts Kimberly (Casey) Sides, Nicole (Jeff) Sutton, and Amber (Quirt) Hunt, uncle Rob Farrenkopf, cousins Draven, Kamden, Korriell, Raylynn, Raquel, Jacoby, Jameson, and Macey.
Memorials may be sent directly to the family at 107 Shady Oaks, Moody, TX 76557
