Katherine "Jeanie" Emmons

Katherine “Jeanie” Emmons, 72, of Lorena, passed away March 30, 2018. Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Dick Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, April 2, 2018 at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Jeanie was born May 3, 1945 in Warren, Arkansas. She was a 1963 graduate from Moody High School, and went on to 4 – C college. She began her career with Lone Star Gas/ TXU in 1984 and retired in 2008. Jeanie loved arts and crafts, working in the yard, and shopping at Walmart all hours of the night. She always worried about everyone else instead of herself, she was a loving and caring person, the type that would tell it like it was...she was true to heart.

Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Mack Ferrell, and Dahlia Katherine Hendrix- Whisenhunt, Step father Howell Odell Whisenhunt; Earl Russell Emmons.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Patti Belville and husband Greg and Son Logan Belville and Carrie Emmons Lamb and husband Kenny Lamb and sons Daniel Emmons and Russell Emmons all of Lorena Tx and granddaughter Danielle Emmons of Waco Tx . and great grandchildren. Her brother Mack Ferrell and Donnette of Valley Mills and her sister Robin Whisenhunt of Lorena Tx. and numerous nieces and nephews.
